Thank you for entering your boat into the Opening Day Sailpast and Fleet Review for 2025
Event details
There will be a skippers briefing straight after the ceremony on the marina bar deck.
Club vessels will assemble at hospital bay at approx 12:45pm dressed as follows:
Stern: National Ensign (Blue or Red)
Bow: Club Burgee
Midship or Yard Arm: Flag Officer Burgee or personal vessel flag
Order of review
1. RMS vessel
2. Water Police
3. Marine Rescue
4. Commodores
5. Vice Commodores
6. VIPs
7. RMYCPH Club Cruisers
8. RMYCPH Sailing Yachts
9. Rear Commodores
Vessels must follow in line astern at 4 knots with 100ft between vessels.
Cruise in southerly direction past the marina where the Commodore’s salute will be taken.
Salute
Skippers and crew should only salute if wearing a cap. If no cap is worn, coming to attention is the accepted response.
On approach all uniformed members should line the foredeck with the skipper nearest the bow with the vessel at one boat length from the marina.
Crew should lower the ensign as the foredeck party comes to attention and salutes.
On passing the base, the RAN Commodore will return the salute.
The vessel will then proceed to formation.

Cruise
The Commodores boat will lead the fleet for a cruise of Port Hacking. Destination will be confirmed on the day.
