While we’re a boating club with intrinsic relationships in the marine industry, we align our Club with local premium businesses such as Porsche Centre Sydney South to extend beyond boating and into other interests of our members. We feel this is a great fit for our Club and our members, and are excited about this newly founded partnership between RMYC Port Hacking & Porsche Centre Sydney South.
Plug in, charge and enjoy
As part of our partnership, the RMYC Port Hacking will become a Porsche Destination Charging Partner providing complementary charging for members and their guests with Porsche electric vehicles and other plug-in hybrid vehicles. This charging station will be the first public charging station of this type in the Shire, making the RMYC Port Hacking a ‘Destination Venue’ for electric-car enthusiasts to come, plug in, charge and enjoy all the wonderful facilities our Club has to offer.
Porsche’s first purely-battery electric vehicle is the powerful and pioneering Taycan, which offers typical sports car performance combined with practicality and the soul of a Porsche. A car that stays the course over long distances before its lithium battery requires charging. Porsche Australia has hand-selected premium and bespoke locations that Porsche customers would directly align with to set up this national network of charging stations and identified the RMYC Port Hacking as a perfect fit within this category. We are proud to be at the forefront of new technology with Porsche Centre South Sydney and the opportunities this further provides to our local community.
