How do I book a table on the lawn or in the Marina Bar?

Tables can only be reserved in the Club main dining area. The marina bar and the lawn are treated on a first come first served basis.

Can I request a window seat in the bistro?

Please make a request for a window seat in the notes section of the online booking form. We will do all we can to accommodate your request but due to the popularity of window seats, we are unable to guarantee it.

Can I bring my children to RMYC Port Hacking?

The RMYC Port Hacking is a family friendly venue and we warmly welcome children of all ages however there are a few simple house rules in place. Children must be supervised and in the immediate company of a responsible adult at all times. Children are not permitted to approach the bar, enter the gaming area, marina bar or marina forecourt and carpark unaccompanied. Our hose policy is posted in the Club and we kindly ask that you take note and respect these rules whilst visiting the RMYC Port Hacking.

Can I hold a private function at RMYC Port Hacking?

We welcome the opportunity to help you to host your next event at the Marina Bar & Balcony. Private function bookings are available every day except Saturdays and our experienced events team is ready to assist in bringing your event to life.

Do you charge a cakeage fee and can I BYO alcohol?

We don’t charge a cakeage fee however, since we are a licensed venue, you are unable to BYO alcohol.

Do I need to be a member of the club to visit?

The NSW Registered Clubs Act requires a person who lives within 5km of this Club to be a Member, or a Member’s Guest, to enter Club premises. Click here to see if you are within the 5km radius of the club.

What time is the bistro open to/from?

Yachties is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner as well as breakfast on the weekends. Our trading hours are:

Lunch & Dinner
Mon-Wed: 12pm – 3pm & 5.30pm – 8pm
Thurs-Sun: 12pm – 3pm & 5.30pm – 8:30pm

Weekend Breakfast
Sat-Sun: 8am – 10:30am

Do you have a dress code?

We do! Members and their guests and visitors to the Club are expected to observe the Club’s dress requirements when on the Club premises. Smart casual attire is acceptable unless otherwise indicated for particular events or when representing the Royal Motor Yacht Club Port Hacking. Management reserves the right to decide upon appropriate dress standards. You can learn more about our dress regulations here.

Does RMYC Port Hacking have live music?

We have live, acoustic entertainment every Saturday and Sunday afternoons. For a monthly line up of our talented duo’s and soloists, head over to the What’s On section of our website.

How does parking work at the club?

Lower level parking surrounding the club house is only available to Boating Members and their Associates at peak trading times. Should you need to drop off or pick up someone requiring assistance, please use the intercom at the boom-gate reader. During times when the boom-gate is up, all members and guests are welcome to use the lower level parking.
