Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the members of the Royal Motor Yacht Club of NSW, Port Hacking Branch will be held in the Club premises at
228-232 Woolooware Rd, Burraneer on Sunday, 27 August 2023 at 9:30am.
Nominations for Vice Commodore, and 2 (two) Director positions are now open as well for the House Committee (5 to be elected) and Marine Committee (5 to be elected). Nomination forms are available for collection at reception. The nomination period will close at 6pm on Sunday, 13 August 2023.
In the event of an election, all nominees for the Board of Directors are expected to provide a brief summary of their qualifications and experience and a suitable profile picture which will be displayed in the Club for the benefit of all voting members.
Anyone considering nomination for the Board should be aware of the Constitution of the Club which is available for download from the member’s section of the website and must hold a current Director Identification Number (DIN).
Elections for the Board of Directors will be held in accordance with the Constitution and voting will take place in line with the voting schedule below:
Wednesday 23rd August – 4pm to 6pm
Thursday 24th August – 4pm to 6pm
Friday 25th August – 4pm to 6pm
The Annual Report is available for download from the member’s portal. Any member wishing to query any specific items from the Annual Report at the AGM is asked to submit their query in writing no later than Wednesday 23rd August to allow for an adequately researched and accurate response.
